Comparative Effectiveness of a Commercial Mouthwash and an Herbal Infusion in Oral Health Care

Mouthrinse solutions represent a group of products used for maintaining oral hygiene after tooth brushing. Substances contained by plants bring benefits the whole mouth health. The purpose this study was to comparatively evaluate effectiveness commercial mouthwash and an herbal infusion on dental plaque formation gingival inflammation. participants in (90 patients) were divided into two groups, CM group, which rinsed with fluoride-containing IM infusion. Silness–Loe index (PI) Loe–Silness (GI) assessed at baseline three following monitoring sessions. Both mouthwashes had good results reducing values. In all sessions, average PI value calculated relatively lower than probably because fluoride mouthwash. GI slightly higher showing inflammation that therefore better result value.
